I had a rather serendipitous introduction to the business through the highly-respected former executive marketing director at JK North America. We were acquainted outside of work through various community activities. When I was ready to move on from traditional sales management into a more challenging role, I found a great fit with JK.
I get the opportunity to work with the best in our industry; observe their practices and learn from their strategies. I really enjoy building relationships and working through the outreach process, as well. My job is very diverse and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I spend a lot of time on the road, face-to-face with our valued customers. Their energy and motivation inspires me.
Spare time … what’s that? In the fall of 2015, I was accepted to the Executive MBA Program at the University of Tampa, so my free time consists of studying, presentation prep, and writing papers. However, the program has provided me with vital insight into our business and strategic management of resources while giving me the ability to give solid advice to new business owners. When I need a break from work or study, you can find me on my yoga mat, at the dog park, or collecting passport stamps.
Wasting time.
I am a self-professed and dedicated foodie, so I don’t have a favorite – but, if I had to pick, I’d say Spanish Tapas.
Scandal or House of Cards.
I’ve never found a bucket big enough for my list!
