As a bartender-turned-entrepreneur, the tanning industry was at the top of my list for potential niche markets for my new product, The Original I’ve Got My Back lotion applicator and back-washer. Since the concept for our product was the solution to my own personal issue of not being able to reach my back to apply lotion before tanning, the tanning market was a gimme … and who uses more lotion – before and after – than tanners?
As you could imagine, creating something that never existed before and sharing it with the world has been extremely rewarding. But transitioning from bartender to business owner has been yet another dream come true. I realized early on that the requirements of both jobs are basically the same – making people happy by building true relationships!
Spare time? LOL. Did I mention that I still have a full-time job, I’m launching a new product, and have a lovely wife and two adorable, school-age children? The family is always at the top of the list – but immediately after that is SLEEP!

I love to cook, but with my schedule these days, I have to answer with a quote I heard once from a famous chef: “Anything somebody else cooks!” Oh, and pizza.
Shark Tank, of course, and – I can’t believe I’m admitting to this – but because I have kids, the whole family’s favorite show is Disney’s Good Luck Charlie. It’ just about as cute and wholesome as they come!
