It was a cold December day in Frankfurt, Germany in 1990 when I happened to see a tanning salon around the corner from where I lived. I went in and got my dose of sunshine, and immediately felt better. Shortly thereafter, I became a part-time employee there while attending hotel school. I enjoyed the business so much that I elected to start full-time after completing my hotel management training.
I love the diversity of customers and everyday challenges.
Mostly with my wife Stephanie, and our four-year-old son, Nathan.
