In my “former life,” I was in sales and marketing for U.S. Foodservice, and they had a local branch in Paris, TN. The company made several acquisitions that resulted in four distributors servicing the same territory, basically stealing each other’s customers, so management decided to consolidate the Paris, TN and Paducah, KY branches. In March 2005, the Paris division closed, and I was out of a job. I took a little time off before getting back into the workforce, and one day out of the blue, received a call from the Four Seasons human resource director – also a former U.S. Foodservice employee – who asked if I would be interested in a marketing position with Four Seasons. I submitted my résumé, interviewed, and the rest is history.
No two days are the same; it is ever-evolving. We often joke that there is never a dull day in the tanning industry.
I love spending time with my grandchildren attending their events and making memories.
I don’t like reading a newspaper that’s already been disassembled.
I love a green, leafy salad topped with green veggies and berries: cucumbers, celery, green grapes, strawberries, nuts and blue cheese crumbles with a little olive oil spritzed on top, or a side of blue cheese or ginger dressing.
“The Voice” – it’s one show that my husband and I watch together, and we have a little fun rivalry predicting the winners.
The list includes a Hawaiian vacation, experiencing a Garth Brooks concert, and I’m entertaining the thought of paragliding.
