Overview:

IST Magazine is looking for a creative thinker and research-driven writer to join our Communications Team. The Digital Content Writer will write, edit, and produce for our high-profile company websites and print magazine. You’ll work with an innovative team to pitch ideas, create fun and engaging content, and develop the IST Magazine brand across multiple platforms.

What will you do?

The ideal candidate will have strong research skills with the ability to take basic topic ideas and turn them into in-depth, compelling articles.

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Draft, edit and write daily blogs and articles
• Work directly with graphic designers to produce infographics based on industry trends
• Collaborate with team to pitch ideas and develop content
• Research and track the latest news in the Tanning Industry to maintain relevant content
• Write 3-5 reported stories per week
• Pitch stories that go beyond the news of the day to highlight new and interesting innovations and trends

What competencies/skills MUST you have?

• Advanced writing and creative development experience
• Ability to adjust writing style based on the audience and platform
• You must be extremely detail-oriented, able to take tasks to completion with minimum changes
• Curiosity – you must have a passion for learning new material
• Have the desire to grow, both personally and professionally

What education/experiences do we prefer you have?

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or Communications
• At least 2 years experience writing blogs, creating online content, or news articles
• Understanding of Real Estate, finance, or investing preferred
