I was head-hunted back in the early 1980s to work for a UK-based manufacturer of pine-wood-framed tanning units. Their production line was great; however, the admin side was dreadful and I saw an opportunity to do a much better job for customers, and so set up shop myself with a colleague, Dennis. Initially, we worked from his home and his garage was our warehouse. Then, in 1984, we met a company call JK and the rest, as they say, is history.
In all seriousness – making people happy, as well as look great and feel great about themselves. I also love the amazing feedback our products receive, and I am, of course, extremely proud of the company and all the dedicated people who work in it.
Ha! What spare time? I do get involved with a number of community projects and charitable events and activities that raise money for children in need. These have included desert treks – not exactly 100% fun-filled, but truly unbelievably amazing experiences that I would encourage everyone to consider.
That’s easy: insincere people and rudeness
In all honesty, it would be far easier to say what I DON’T like!
Depending on my mood, it would have to be either “Ray Donovan,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” or “Strictly Come Dancing” (BBC version of “Dancing with The Stars”).
I don’t actually have a Bucket List – but I do enjoy travelling, so there’s a few places I’d like to see. I’d love to learn to fly – maybe to some of the places I’ve yet to visit and then, of course, I would absolutely love to feature in a James Bond movie! Perhaps, there’s a way to combine all three …
