INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Swedish Beauty was honored and privileged to donate a gift basket of product to the Taylor Thury Leukemia Benefit on April 12th in Roseville, MN. Over 400 members of Taylor’s family, friends and community raised over $20,000 for Taylor and her charity. All of the proceeds from the event went to Taylor’s medical bills, medications and family expenses. The benefit included a silent auction, raffle prizes, taco bar and a $500 grand prize raffle drawing, with the winner surprising everyone and donating the money back to Taylor’s charity! The donated lotion basket raised over $200 in raffle tickets. All-in-all, the benefit was a tremendous success for Taylor and her family.
Taylor Thury is a 2012 graduate of Denfeld High School in Duluth, MN. She was studying Nursing at Lake Superior College, newly engaged and a new mom when she was diagnosed with Leukemia in November 2013. Taylor has remained a vibrant, confident woman who continues to remain in good spirits throughout her treatment. The Swedish Beauty team commends her tremendous strength and wishes her all the best during this difficult journey!
