“Bunny Bash” events have David McFarland of Performance Brands, Inc. hopping from salon to salon, but he doesn’t mind … These promotional events create excitement at salons across the country, and you can get in on the action too!
Performance Brands, Inc. is teaming up with salons across the country to share its message – and its products – directly with end-users. Salon professionals who encourage their tanners to “like” PBI’s Facebook page, and are able get at least 100 customer “likes” are eligible to host a Bunny Bash. Hosted by the enigmatic National Sales Trainer David McFarland, these events generate all the excitement of a customer appreciation day, complete with free tanning lotions and amazing deals. In an industry that continues to find ways to reach the end-user, Performance Brands’ Bunny Bash can be a great way to build brand/customer loyalty, reward existing clients and attract new ones, as well as boost retail product sales.
Tanners in S. Beloit, IL enjoyed the Bunny Bash held December 12 at Oh So Tan. “We’ve had the opportunity to see David’s presentations at a few industry events,” said Karen Daly, the salon’s owner, “and we’ve really enjoyed how fun and informative they were. We were excited to take part in the Bunny Bash contest and when he told me we won, I couldn’t believe it!” Karen rolled out the proverbial red carpet for David, including acquiring a remote broadcast from the local radio station to help promote the event. Nearly 250 people showed up and several bottles of Playboy Tan’s Dark Angel were sold. “We tied this in with a charity fundraiser,” she added, “and our guests helped us raise enough money to buy clothing, boots and winter coats for three local families in need. This event was a huge success!”
The Bunny Bash at Sinfully Good Body & Soul in Stowe, OH was an effective promotion, says owner Diane Hannig. She qualified for the event after encouraging more than 100 of her tanners to “like” PBI’s Facebook page. “We wanted to host this so badly that we spread the word about Performance Brands through Facebook, Instagram and word-of-mouth every day,” said Diane. “The event itself was so much fun largely because David is such an extrovert, and it generated about $1,000 in lotion and membership sales!” The staff at Sinfully Good tied the event in with a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Akron, OH and, with the help of PBI, raised $570 for the organization. “We couldn’t have imagined it going any better,” Diane added.
The PBI Bunny Bash continues to be a mutually beneficial way for salon owners to partner with Performance Brands. The Florida-based PBI team would like to encourage more salon owners to take part in this exciting offer. “We like to go above and beyond for salon owners who show their support for our products,” David McFarland said, “and this is why the Bunny Bash is so exciting for our salon clients.”
Tanning professionals interested in having one of these exciting promotional events at their stores should contact David at Performance Brands.
