SACRAMENTO, CA – As California Sun celebrates its 20th anniversary, the successful salon chain is also experiencing many exciting developments.
California Sun is proud to announce the addition of two District Managers – Carmen Elder and Susan Hanson. As District Managers, their duties will include everything from approving the staffing and labor schedules to customer satisfaction and reaching store-revenue goals. “Our District Managers oversee a total of seven to eight locations each,” said Mike Blore, Californa Sun CEO. “Like all new hires, Carmen and Susan will bring additional insight and experience that we have not explored to make California Sun an even better operation.”
Coinciding with California Sun’s 20th anniversary, Blore recently opened two locations in Pocket and Bradshaw, CA. “Like most of our locations, Pocket is anchored in a center that provides incredible visibility,” Blore said, “and the community response has been great. Our Bradshaw location is next to a 24-Hour Fitness center, and we’ve received tremendous feedback from the gym’s clients who were looking forward to the grand opening.” Each store averages 13 UV tanning and two sunless-tanning rooms, and feature Ergoline and VersaSpa equipment.
In 1993, Mike and Ashleigh Blore opened their first California Sun location, a 10-unit salon in Rocklin, CA. Today, California Sun has 32 stores in and around Sacramento, with at least three more on the way.
