Lucas Products Mourns Founder’s Passing

TOLEDO, OH – It is with much regret that the Lucas Products family informs the tanning industry of the passing of company founder, Donald Applegate.

Known to many as the “grandfather” of the tanning industry, Donald started Lucas Products in 1957. Throughout the years, he developed the modern-day tanning goggle, SUPER SUNNIES, as well as the popular LUCASOL disinfectant and a myriad of other products.
