MACEDONIA, OH – Sunless Inc., industry-leading marketer of Mystic Tan™, Versa Spa™, Sunless Pro™ Lotions and Evolv™ has launched a new national sales organization to better serve salon owners and their customers.
“After much research, planning and strategizing, Sunless, Inc. has entered a period of change,” commented Sunless CEO Martin Kelly, “The goal of the new organization is to improve the support we provide our customers through a cohesive approach that leverages our sunless tanning expertise and technological capabilities with the right leadership and organizational structure to improve customer care and service.”
In the new sales organization, customers will have a field-based point of contact for equipment, solutions, lotions and education, located within the customer’s geographic region, to allow for more timely, direct and personal interaction.
Sunless, Inc. veteran Mark DeMayo has been appointed “Key Master” – aka VP of Corporate Accounts and Business Development – to build the business of salon chains that serve the sunless tanning industry in multiple regions throughout U.S.
The new field sales organization will be helmed by five “Sunless Tanning Gurus,” or Region Managers, based in the Northeast (Dan Mirro), Great Lakes (Jill Frank), Central (Mark Southard), Western (Cheri Bickar) and Southeast regions. These individuals are responsible for all product categories and business development in their geographic zones and will be supported by Sunless Tanning Specialists, located in each of the five regions. The Specialists are responsible for training, service and support programs for salon owners and franchise groups, with the goal of driving increased sales, profitability and customer satisfaction.
A new customer care team led by “SunTANista”, Theresa Ilijevch, who reports to Barry Szabo, will further enhance the new organization. Theresa’s team of “TANbassadors”, or Customer Care Representatives, will serve the needs of customers and ensure proper coordination and improved service between sales and the Supply Chain Group to improve order management.
Leading the Sunless Inc. sales team and customer service is Barry Szabo, VP of Global Sales, for all product categories, reporting directly to CEO, Martin Kelly. In this new position, Barry will lead the Sunless Inc. brand into this exciting new customer-centric period, as Sunless Inc. becomes a more robust advocate for the industry and even stronger supporter of its customers.
The new organization is effective immediately and demonstrates the commitment of Sunless Inc. to leadership, service and advocacy for salon owners, their valuable customers and the sunless industry.
